Jeanne Baer

Jeanne Baer

Jeanne Baer was born and raised in Southern California where she received her formal art education. Her fondest childhood memories are family days at the beach where she spent the entire day in the surf.

Her travels to the South Pacific, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Australia, New Zealand and Canada, including the Maritimes, have enriched the development of her unique use of color and design.

Baer's deep and abiding love of the ocean is apparent throughout her work. Her use of color and expressive lighting impact to the viewer a feeling of movement and participation. Her paintings pay homage to sea and sky and share the moment of reverie she experienced in nature.

Jeanne Baer has participated in many regional art festivals and has won numerous awards for her artwork. Her paintings are proudly exhibited in homes throughout the world.
